The Twisters is a second semester, award-winning, high-energy, and pops-oriented group. The Twisters provide energy, entertainment, excitement, and a home court advantage for our Varsity Basketball teams during our Home Games!

All students are welcome to join these rabid Hoover fanatics! Currently, it is made up of HTMB students & optional for new members to join! The band plays at assemblies and services for the school, as needed. This group uses no color guard, battery, or front ensemble percussion, however positions on drum set, guitar, and bass may be available. The Twisters is not a class, and only makes up a part of a student’s grade if they are in HTMB only. This is a band comprised of the marching band students that are able to attend each game and support our basketball teams!

Our HIM Boosters also typically sell concessions at these games as a fundraiser for the Music program! Please check your email for updates on snack donations & volunteers needed to operate the concession stand at Hoover’s Main Gym.
